If we want to create the life of our dreams. Then we are going to have to take 100% responsibility for our life as well. That means giving up all our excuses, all our victim stories, all the reason why we can’t and why we haven’t up until now, and all our blaming of outside circumstames. We have to give them all up forever.

We have to take the position that we have always had the power to make it different. To get it right, to produce the desired result. For whatever reason (ignorance, lack of awareness, fear, needing to be right, the need to feel safe ) we choose not to exercise that power. Who knows why? It’s doesn’t matter. The past is the past. All that matters now is that from this points forward we choose – that’s rights, it’s a choice – we choose to act as if (that’s all that required – to act as if) we are 100% responsible for everything that does or doesn’t happen to ourself.

If something doesn’t turn out as planned, we will ask ourself, “how did we create that? What were we thinking? What were our beliefs? What did we say or not say? What did we do or not to do to create the result? How did we get the other person to act that way? What do we need to do differently next time to get the result we want?”

We will never become successful as long as we continue to blame someone or something else for our lack of success. If we are going to be a winner, we have to acknowledge the truth – it’s us who took the actions, thought the thoughts, created the feelings, and made the choices that got us to where we now are. It was us!!!

We are the one who took the job.

We are the one who stayed in the job.

We are the one who didn’t say no!

We are the one who decided to do something through that way, etc……..

In short, we thought the thought, we created the feeling, we made the choice, we said the words, and that’s why we are where we are now.
